Because this construction is intended to be ecologically exemplary. The choice was made to engage in the Envirobat Occitanie BDO (Sustainable Building Occitanie) approach from the outset of the project. It obtained the “Gold” level in the design phase alongside Bonnet & Teissier Architectes and Plus de vert – QEB design office – Environnement Energies. And must continue to set an example in its implementation phase, believes the CCI.

If the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is following the project so closely, it is quite simply because these are its future premises. Until now domiciled in the city center, the structure will in fact migrate fin 2025 at altitude to integrate a “business and skills campus”. There will therefore not only be the CCI on site, but also various services which will benefit the development of the Purple Campus (collaborative spaces, amphitheater, etc.) and businesses (accommodation spaces, coworking, etc.).
A project which is also taking place under the eyes of students from the National Hemp School based in Mende.
The next step will be the frame.
The Region has granted aid of €557,000 to support the completion of this project. The Department put 400,000 euros on the table.
