As in Group B of Regional 1 where the Haut-Pyrénées and the Ariégeois both play, it is logical that the Tarbais, at home, dominate the Luzenaciens (3-1). After equalizing in the 50th minute, the visitors gave up against the superior Haut-Pyrénées.

With home advantage and a big lead in the championship (Tarbes and Luzenac play in Pool B of Réguional 1), the locals could, however, expect to receive a conquering Luzenac team.
It is with a reshuffled team and managers left to rest that the Haut-Pyrénées are making a serious start. Very quickly, Luzenac pulled himself together and created a series of dangerous opportunities, like Araud's header which brushed against the Tarbes cages (5th). The Ariège offensives nevertheless came up against a Tarbes defense masterfully led by Tarbès. Luzenac's highlight is stopped by Koko who, after fixing the defense, scores the first goal with a powerful cross strike (1-0, 30th). Despite some defensive blunders from the locals, the Luzenaciens lacked realism in their last gesture. The equalizer is close when Isergishvili releases the ball on a cross from Sans, but Barry's shot goes over the target (44th). Slight advantage at half-time for the Tarbais who, however, did not make any outbursts in their game.
Luzenac equalizes then lets go
Back from the locker room, Luzenac keeps up the pressure. Tounkara tries his luck with a shot easily captured by the Tarbes goalkeeper (48th). A minute later, Serhane's header brushed the crossbar. Deliverance is near. On a well-delivered pass from Blanchard to his center forward, Araud equalizes with a tense and powerful shot (1-1, 50th). Despite less frequent chances than their opponents, the Tarbais prove to be more realistic. On a cross from Rouquet, Delgado doubles the Haut-Pyrénées' lead with a header (2-1, 52nd). The Tarbes entries of Lamin and Guira bring a breath of fresh air to the collective. Destabilized, Luzenac is no longer able to infiltrate the opposing side of the field. The locals took advantage of this slow time to impose their control and chained opportunities, like Dampha's shot, well repelled by Eychenne (66th).
Marque deals the final blow to the Luzenaciens with a header from a corner (3-1, 67th). In stoppage time, Luzenac had two good chances with a shot from Tounkara then a shot from Diallo, but without shaking the opposing nets (91st). Cebrian could have hit the nail on the head at the very end of the match, but his shot was blocked by Eychenne. With a completely overhauled team, Tarbes won against the Luzenaciens who offered good resistance.
