The peloton remains in Italy this Sunday, June 30, to face the second event of the Grande Boucle (June 29-July 21).
After the bumps of the first stage… do it again this Sunday! The 2024 Tour de France peloton, still in Italy, sets off from Bologna for the second stage which will take the riders to Bologna. 198.7 km are on the program for the day.

Profile of the stage this Sunday, June 30: hilly. Six climbs are in fact on the program (compared to seven the day before): five referenced in the fifth category, one in the 4th category. The final part with the hill of the San Luca sanctuary (1.9 km at 10.6%), traditional finish of the Tour of Emilia, is an invitation to punchers and will be crossed twice in the last 40 kilometers” notes the boss of the Tour Christian Prudhomme.
