Cahors. Orange and the Lot Department are committed to digital inclusion

As part of its commitment to a responsible digital world, signed, in , during the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales, an agreement with the Department of Lot, represented by the Syndicat Mixte Lot Numérique. This collaboration aims to provide Orange employees with the opportunity to run digital workshops in the department. This initiative is part of the Numérique Ensemble plan which aims for the digital inclusion of 8 million fellow citizens.

From 2025 and until December 31, Orange will offer two interventions per month throughout the Lot region, allowing citizens to benefit from free training on essential themes such as securing smartphones, protecting personal data, and the use of social networks.

These workshops will be led by Orange ambassadors, in conjunction with the partner structures identified in the Lot Numérique Ensemble roadmap.

An assessment and evaluation of the actions implemented as part of this partnership will be carried out at the end of the second quarter of 2025, in order to measure the impact of this collaboration.
