TBM network under construction this summer: what awaits the people of Bordeaux

Summer is looking like it will be a nightmare for Bordeaux users! The cause? summer works on tram lines B, C, D for work of maintenance, reliability of infrastructure and the installation of new switches facilitating the turning of trains from July 8. Two new points will be installed. The first at the Saint-Genès barrier and the second at the Saint-Michel station. These worksites will generate Tram cuts in July and AugustRelay buses will be set up to ensure continuity of service on these lines.

In detail

The installation of the switches will last respectively 2 weeks for Saint-Michel (lines C/D) and 6 weeks for Saint-Genès (ligne B).

Interruption from July 8 to 23

  • Tram C cut between Quinconces and Villenave Pyrenees
  • Tram D cut between Quinconces and Carle Vernet
  • Relay buses are available with a frequency of 5 minutes during the day and 10 minutes in the evening, as well as between Terres Neuves and the Pyrenees.

Interruption from July 15 to August 30 inclusive

  • From July 15 to August 30: interruption between Saint-Nicolas and Pessac Centre – France Alouette.
  • From July 22 to 26: interruption between the Aquitaine Museum and Saint-Nicolas.
  • July 26:interruption between Quinconces and the Aquitaine Museum.
  • Relay buses are availablewith a frequency of 10 minutes and 20 minutes between Bougnard and France Alouette.

A specific information system will be set up for travelers to assist them in their travels with: the presence of an information agent on the ground, signage at all unserved stations, information panels and all live information on the TBM networks.
