As tradition dictates, Albi will celebrate July 14 with a military parade, torchlight procession, fireworks and a ball!

18h10 Gathering of veterans and their flag bearers on Avenue du Général de Gaulle, in the presence of the Departmental Band of the Tarn Firefighters.
18h25 Review of the troops.
6:30 p.m Arrival of the authorities, raising of the colours.
18:45 Military parade in the direction of Media Library / Lapérouse Statue
With the participation of a section of the 8th RPIMA, the National Gendarmerie, the Marine Military Preparation “Lapérouse” of Albi, the National Police, the intervention unit of the Firefighters and young Firefighters, the French Red Cross and civil protection
19h Performance by the Departmental Music of the Tarn Firefighters.

21h45 Departure of the torchlight procession in front of the Town Hall with musical parade in the pedestrian streets.

BANKS OF THE TARN
11 p.m.: FIREWORKS SHOWED FROM THE BANKS OF THE TARN
FOR SECURITY REASONS RELATING TO THE PONT-VIEUX RESTORATION SITE, ACCESS WILL BE PROHIBITED TO CAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC FROM 7:00 PM TO MIDNIGHT.
Traffic will be prohibited during these festivities:
- Avenue De Gaulle from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
- On the Lices, the Pont Neuf, the Pont Vieux, the Boulevard Sibille (at the level of the Cathedral car park), Place Sainte-Cécile, historic centre from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Parking will be prohibited in the historic center from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
