In addition to his long ball, Guerrero hit a three-run double and a single that drove in a runner.
The two-base hit was the 800th hit of his career.
Guerrero has led by example in six games, producing no fewer than 19 points.

Alejandro Kirk produced two runs with a double and a single as Toronto (38-44) found form after the 16-5 rout the day before.

Chris Bassitt (7-6) held the Yankees to one run and six hits in six innings, striking out eight batters.

Nestor Cortes (4-7) pitched four and a third innings, allowing three runs and seven hits.
In the first inning, Kiner-Falefa’s hit eluded Anthony Volpe’s diving catch for a one-out single. The next batter, Guerrero hit a changeup 403 feet for his 13th homer this year.
A five-run spurt in the sixth helped the Blue Jays pull away.

On the Toronto side, reliever Tim Mayza was designated for assignment and Markham stopper Jordan Romano was sidelined with elbow discomfort.
Mayza was sent to the Buffalo Bisons (AAA), while right-hander Cuas was recalled to take his place.
