A final year student from the Félix-Ésclangon high school in Manosque (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) suffered a cardiac arrest this Friday, November 22 in the morning during a physical education and sports (PES) class, reports BFMTV. She was quickly taken care of by the staff on site, according to academic director Mickaël Cabbeke. She was on the sports floor of the establishment at the time of the events.
A listening cell set up
The 16-year-old girl, whose state of health was stabilized on site, was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Marseille. The Alpes-de-Haute-Provence firefighters and the police went to the scene.
The academic director requested the establishment of a listening cell within the Manosquin high school to accommodate students and staff affected by this event.
