This Saturday, June 29, the Corsican sky is once again veiled by the passage of a cloud of fine particles coming from the Sahara.

According to the organization Qualitairthe regulatory thresholds should not be exceeded and the situation remains under surveillance.

“Although potentially visible in the sky, the particles are expected to remain in the upper layers of the atmosphere and cause only a minor increase in inhaled concentrations.”indicates Qualitair Corse on its account Twitter.

For now, vigilance remains in order and “Qualitair Corse is nevertheless monitoring the situation closely and will inform the population in the event of an unfavourable development in the situation.”
