According to information from France Bleu, the Spanish goalkeeper of PSG, Sergio Rico, victim of a fall from horseback in May 2023, will not be retained by the Parisian club. He will therefore be free to engage wherever he wishes.

Sergio Rico and PSG, it should be the end of the common story. According to information from France Bleu, the Spanish goalkeeper will not receive an offer of a contract extension, which expires on June 30, 2024.

Five years spent at PSG

The doorman arrived at the Parisian club in 2019 and in May 2023 made the news, the victim of a serious fall while riding a horse, which left him in a coma for a few days. It was only a year after this incident that Sergio Rico announced in the media that he was ready to resume training, which he had done with PSG.
