SEPTUORS EVENING of LOT 2024 – Tuesday November 26 – 6 p.m. – Palais des Congrès de Souillac
Trophy presentation at the heart of a Rémi Larrousse show

Like every year, the Septuors ceremony in the Lot is one of the last to conclude this extensive tour of where the innovative and deserving companies of our territories are presented. With a certain enthusiasm, we are rediscovering major players as new gems with entrepreneurs who are not afraid to embark on new projects, new markets.

This 2024 ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, November 26 at the Palais des Congrès in Souillac from 6 p.m., will celebrate various winners in the Young Starts, Innovation, Industry, Commerce, Tourism & Leisure categories, or even a special CCI du Lot prize. Indeed, numerous partners are once again supporting the event, including Prévifrance, Cerfrance, Souillac town hall, Cauvaldor, the Evelyne agency and CCI 46.

The Partner

Jean-Claude Fouché, president of the Causses and Dordogne Valley Community of Communes (Cauvaldor)

How do you judge the economic and entrepreneurial dynamics at the scale of Cauvaldor in 2024?

In 2024, Cauvaldor displays encouraging economic dynamics, driven by a clear strategic vision and concrete actions to support the ecological transition, strengthen the local economic fabric and attract new economic players.

Thanks to our 2024-2027 economic development strategy, we have brought local stakeholders on board around a shared ambition: to make Cauvaldor a land of excellence, capable of combining modernity and respect for its rural values.

Local entrepreneurs benefit from a favorable ecosystem supported by our economic development agency CAUVALDOR EXPANSION, with initiatives such as support for agricultural, artisanal and industrial projects.

Attention is paid to sustainable tourism, thus allowing diversification of the offer for the benefit of the entire territory.

Can you present to us some recent initiatives undertaken by the community of municipalities with local businesses?

Several recent initiatives illustrate our commitment to businesses:

• Support for project leaders: Through CAUVALDOR EXPANSION we have strengthened our support for the creation and transfer of businesses, by offering practical workshops, meetings with local investors via the Invest Club, and services personalized to secure projects.

• Promotion of sustainable tourism: We have developed a strategy to promote quality accommodation and encourage slow tourism, by targeting projects that extend the tourist season and preserve the environment.

• Promotion of local industry: Cauvaldor launched a territorial industrial ecology program, as well as events such as the “Forum of Jobs of Tomorrow”, to anticipate the skills needs of companies and attract young talents.

These actions are part of our desire to create a balanced and attractive territory, while supporting local economic pillars.

What meaning do these awards have for you, including that of Tourism & Leisure which you will present on November 26?

The Septuors du Lot represent a great opportunity to celebrate and promote the innovative initiatives that make our territory shine. As president of Cauvaldor, it is with great pride that I will present the Tourism & Leisure prize, a category which illustrates the importance of this sector for our local economy and our cultural heritage.

Tourism is the third pillar of our territorial economy with agriculture and industry: it is also a reflection of our identity, our exceptional living environment and our ambition to develop a sustainable and harmonious model.

This year, the winner, Nid en O, perfectly embodies these values. By offering original and environmentally friendly experiences, this company shows the way to innovative and responsible tourism, just like what we wish to promote throughout the territory. This award is a strong signal for those involved in tourism and leisure: their commitment contributes to strengthening the attractiveness of Cauvaldor and shaping its future.
