ST-PIERRE DE VARENNES: The 76 students of the school group took the stage

The village hall was well-filled on Friday evening for the annual fair.

The round of fairs has begun in the region. This Friday evening in Saint-Pierre de Varennes, 76 students from the Jacques de Masin school group took to the stage in the village hall for the traditional end-of-year show. As usual, the little ones from the nursery school started the program of songs and dances, followed by those from the other sections. This fair organized by the parents’ association with the valuable assistance of the teachers was particularly well attended. Indeed, the village hall was packed. The fair continued outside with the traditional games. Let us add that an appeal was launched to parents in order to strengthen the parents’ association chaired for the last year by Mélodie Beaucaire. An appeal also taken up by the mayor Gérard Durand who strongly hoped that the APEV would continue for as long as possible. “Mélodie wants to leave her position as president, and I dare to hope that she will be replaced in this task for the future of the APEV, for the good of our children, our school, our community. I know that it is difficult to get involved, please, let’s remain a living community, let’s not become a dormitory community…” said the mayor. Our images.
