Created in 1984, the Adame des Marais association runs the marshland area in Manche, “with respect for people and nature”. It is responsible for managing and running the Maison des Marais and the Sarcelles pond.
To celebrate his 40 ans, The Association for the development, animation and revival of the marshes invites you to a festive weekend around the Sarcelles pond, in Saint-Martin d’Aubigny, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June. Two festive days to enjoy with family or friends.
Saturday’s program
From 10 a.m., you can take part in hikes, on foot or by bike. Midday is Spanish hotel with meal to share (everyone brings something).
From 2pm onwards, opening of the village of associations, with around ten exhibitors on the theme of the environment and social ties.
Several conferences and discussion times will be offered during the afternoon: “What future for the curlew”, “Consequences of global warming on birds”, “Issues surrounding the Baupte peat bog”, “Development of the former Refouds sand pit”…
In the evening, it’s time for food-trucks and a concert given by McDonnell Trio (Irish music).
Sunday’s program
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you will find a market of local artisans and producers on site. At lunchtime, grilled and vegetarian meals, accompanied by jazz music. From 2 p.m., stroll of the batucada of the Périers Harmony.
All weekend, you can do a pedal boat tour, try out the giant wooden games, enjoy the refreshment bar.
