Entourage is excited to announce today the complete programming of the very first edition of the festival Hilarium Sherbrooke. This new, modern and original festival will take over the city of Sherbrooke to celebrate humor in all its forms and to highlight a world of possibilities to make people laugh! Presented by August 27 to September 1, 2024the festival offers heterogeneous humor thanks to a diversified outdoor and indoor program, which focuses on our greatest Quebec comedians and talents as well as on stunning and hilarious performances by local and international artists.
Four types of events will be offered: the series The world of laughter presented to the Cultural Center of the University of Sherbrooke and captured for television, the series Laughing in the open held at Jacques-Cartier Parkshows Project P13 | Underground improv games presented to the Granada Theater and the Hilary’s Comedy Club which will be held at the Boquebière microbrewery. For this first edition, these are the popular comedians PA Méthot, Mariana Mazza, Phil Roy, Katherine Levac, Philippe Laprise et Danick Martineau who will be the hosts of these different show-events, while they will all be accompanied by a host of comedians and performers. Hilarium Sherbrookeis 6 days of festivities on the occasion of Labor Day with many unique event shows. The festival, created and promoted by Entourage with the support of the city of Sherbrooke and a few sponsors, focuses on a new humorous approach by presenting different forms of performances and not only traditional stand-up. Comedy lovers from all over Quebec are expected in Estrie for this great weekend of festivities during the last moments of the beautiful season.

THE MONDH!AL OF LAUGHTER
August 30-31
Hosted by the very popular comedian PA Méthotseries The world of laughter presents two major humorous variety events where all forms of art come together to provoke laughter and amazement. Captured for television and presented at the Cultural Center of the University of Sherbrooke, these two shows unveil a brand new television and stage format that focuses on humorous diversity, exchange, sharing and above all LAUGHTER! On stage, stand-up and humorous variety acts of all kinds will be offered by our greatest Quebec comedians and artists with international influence by combining different genres, with the ultimate objective of triggering the highest decibels of laughter. Throughout the show, the artists will be installed on a panel directly in the audience in order to watch all of their colleagues’ numbers, comment on them and give them a rating, with the participation of the spectators, to the greatest delight of the latter. Much more than a simple string of humorous numbers, The world of laughter will thus generate different emotions and create a real exchange between the artists and the public.
On the menu for the evening August 31 : Mariana Mazza, the crazy Japanese sensation Wes-P, Katherine Levac, the specialist in freestyle canine Alexandra Côté and her dogs, New, the most awarded French illusionist David Stonethe Quebec Mr. Bean Johnny Filion et several others!

LAUGHING IN THE OPEN AIR
August 30-31 and September 1
Series Laughing in the open air presents three unique events that showcase the best of Quebec humor and are offered outdoors, on the magnificent site of Jacques-Cartier Park. Starting at 8 p.m., each evening will be hosted by a beloved artist, namely Mariana Mazza, Phil Roy et Katherine Levacwhile they will receive performances from their favorite comedians. Before the shows from 5 p.m., the outdoor site will allow festival-goers to live a complete experience thanks to street entertainment, music as well as access to food and drink from the best food trucks and bars. The events Laughing in the openit’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the last rays of summer sunshine in a festive and hilarious atmosphere!
The August 30, Mariana Mazza will welcome Alexandre Barrette, Korine Côté, Matthieu Pepper, Jo Cormier, Simon Delisle et Sinem Kara.
Phil Roy will present its evening on August 31 with Patrick Groulx, Yannick de Martino, Mélanie Couture, Anas Hassouna, Christophe Dupéré et Erika Suarez.
Eventually, Katherine Levac will have at his side the September 1st Cathy Gauthier, Guillaume Pineault, Jean-François Mercier, Marylène Gendron, Josiane Aubuchon et Charles Pellerin.

PROJECT P13 | CLANDESTINE IMPRO GAMES

With the series Project P13 | Underground improv gamesthe comedian Philippe Laprise will present a concept show in preview and will lead improvisation games taking place in a highly original fictional context and directly linked to the history of the Granada Theatre. The spectators will thus be brought into a fascinating and hilarious universe revolving around Georges, the famous ghost of the Granada Theater. Master of ceremonies for each evening, Philippe will invite 4 celebrities, actors and comedians, to come and participate in humorous improv games with the aim of triggering the biggest laughs, in a daring, hilarious and surprising show, through which the audience will be led to participate on several levels.
LE COMÉDIE CLUB HILARY
27-28-29 August
The Hilary’s Comedy Cluberected at the Boquebière microbrewerypresents festive comedy evenings hosted by the comedian Danick Martineauoriginally from Estrie and big winner of Big Brother Celebrities 4. These evenings in a more intimate format will allow the public to discover a host of comedians and artists who will rely on their raw talent to bring bursts of laughter.
