The Emmanuel-Chabrier Conservatory celebrated the end of the artistic season this Wednesday by organizing a day open to the public. All disciplines and all open classes were honored

Music, dance and theater are demanding subjects, which require significant effort from both students and their families. At the end of a learning cycle, what could be more natural than wanting to go out, show off the work accomplished and have fun.

The opportunity for the public to discover some of the specialities offered such as hip-hop, oboe or ancient music, but also to understand all the facets of a training that strives to make culture accessible to all. “Everyone can register at the conservatory, because there are courses in the three disciplines of music, dance and theater, adapted to all objectives, all levels and all ages, in the greatest respect for the rules of the art”, insists the deputy director of the establishment Christophe Pereira, who does not forget the need to also bring out “demanding music lovers”.

Since four years

To give even more substance to the event, several stages shared the performances throughout the afternoon, divided between the marquee, ring, auditorium and concert halls. In addition to the students of the conservatory, young people from the musical educational establishments of Cournon, Ennezat and Beaumont were present, as well as the violin classes of Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis).

This is the whole meaning of the Conservatory Festival, established four years ago by its director Françoise Causin, who will leave her post at the end of this season to take up new duties within the Ministry of Culture.
