Natural Games in Millau: Bigflo and Oli stir up the crowds, Queen Omega… imperial

For this second evening of the Natural Games, the eclectic program convinced the many festival-goers. With, at the top of the bill, the favorites of the spectators who came with their families, the Toulouse-based Bigflo and Oli.

Another beautiful day under a superb Millau sun. Enough to warm up the atmosphere from the first performances on the Natural Games stage.

A start to an electro evening with diverse universes

First of the evening, Montpellier’s Sabor a Mi arrives at 5pm to kick off the hostilities. From cumbia to afro house, the artist mixes genres and takes her audience on her journeys. A passage that sets the tone with an electro sound that sets the mood. We already know that the evening is only just beginning.

Between two sporting moments, the Natural Games DJ Crew takes over. A new proposal that convinces the public just as much as spectators continue to arrive at the Maladrerie. Little by little, the sun begins to disappear to make way for a night of madness… But the temperature, it, continues to climb.

Queen Omega and Caravan Palace, without a false note

After a freestyle paragliding show, it was the turn of the Caribbean Queen Omega to tread the “NG” stage. Accompanied by musicians and her choirs, it was the hearts of the audience that she reached. Clear lyrics, reggae tunes and a captivating voice, it didn’t take much more to maintain the festival atmosphere.

Imperial, Queen Omega is having a blast and it shows. Festival-goers continue to gather in front of the huge stage. She dances, jumps, sings… And carries the audience with her to the rhythm of her songs.

Next up are Caravan Palace, who came to get the Natural Games moving to the rhythm of their compositions. With their electro swing universe, the troupe skillfully plays with jazz sounds and electronic music. A proposition that hits the mark given the reactions of the audience who sway to the rhythm. A perfect transition to warm up the latest arrivals while waiting for the MBT and BMX Dirt semi-finals just a stone’s throw from the stage.

Bigflo and Oli… You should have gone there

Then comes the moment of the most anticipated duo of the evening, as evidenced by the many people who came with friends, but especially family. The people of Toulouse, Bigflo and Oli did not come to joke. Finally, it is difficult for the two brothers not to tease the Aveyron public who paid well for their place despite the clichés about the thrifty side of Aveyron.

The public responded to the NG’s call.

This time again, the show is there. The duo never stops having fun with their spectators. Arms swing in the air, voices unite to sing in chorus with Bigflo and Oli… The audience is jubilant. It must be admitted that the Toulousains hit hard with lighting effects, confetti, flames, but also and above all, a special connection with the festival-goers.

Not content with being a talented rapper, Oli also masters the trumpet perfectly.

Finally, it is Vitalic from Dijon who has the honour of ending the evening. An electro artist, he also takes the turn behind the decks to get the most motivated “gamers” dancing. A masterful show, Vitalic seems to know exactly which button to press to get the audience going. A craze that, without a doubt, resonated in the city centre of Millau.

The evening ends with smiles and the promise, for many, of meeting again for the last musical evening of the NG this Saturday, June 29.
