He had been impatient for several months, but history proved him right, as he expected the National Assembly to be dissolved. As a result, Alain Cadiot did not waste any time in announcing his candidacy. He will be alongside Angie Fuente, an administrative executive. Alain Cadiot is an occupational physician based in Crissey. “Work, justice and education” are the three pillars of the themes he intends to defend and promote as the future deputy for the 5th constituency of Saône et Loire.

Aged 65, the one that no one expected, was quite a pioneer, “you can witness that I announced the dissolution a few months ago. It was obvious as the social situation in this country is what it is. work is no longer considered in France and as a result the values of education and justice are collateral victims. It is through work and school that we can climb the ladder in our republican society. over the years”.

He claims his totally apolitical side, placing himself “at the center because it is my culture and because political life must be achieved through consensus and the search for the common good, not that of personal interest”.

With a campaign, “a non-campaign you mean”, Alain Cadiot remains nonetheless motivated and launches an appeal to voters on the right and the left, “who hope to give another way to their ballots”. “The conditions of this legislative campaign are purely disgusting, let’s not mince words” he says with all the seriousness that characterizes him, with this passion for the Public Thing that has driven him for years. “I am neither right nor left, and if anyone is a free candidate, it is Alain Cadiot, my mentality is that of a job well done” insists the candidate with a heavy commitment within the French army, with two deployments in the Balkans to his credit, as a military doctor.

“The public hospital is in ruins, education… have you seen the level? I don’t care about political parties but at some point, we have to make the right diagnosis of the state of health of France” challenges Alain Cadiot, who claims to be “anti-extreme. An army of discontented people does not make happy people. I am neither LFI nor RN”.

Another subject that completely sets him apart from the political class in general, “I am for the single mandate. Nothing else. It is a way of forcing those who are given the orders to give 100%. And that is what I will do if the voters give me their confidence”.

With his outspokenness, he calls “to tell the truth to the French. The French are not idiots as long as we explain and respect the word given and the commitment”.

Due to a lack of financial and human resources, Alain Cadiot has almost gone under the radar during this legislative campaign. On Sunday, he hopes to create a surprise and play the party pooper in the political triangle predicted by the great national political scientists.
