The Premier of Quebec was in Chandler on Friday morning to break ground on the construction site of the expansion of the CHSLD Villa Pabos. This new construction will be modeled on the model of seniors’ homes.

Although the work began this winter, François Legault took advantage of his visit to Gaspésie to officially launch the site. He was accompanied by the Minister responsible for Seniors, Sonia Bélanger, and the Member of Parliament for Bonaventure, Catherine Blouin.

This expansion will allow the construction of 48 additional rooms. They will be divided into four households of 12 residents. Each of them will benefit from a single room with adapted toilet and shower.

We will take advantage of this to do some work in the CHSLD existing.
