No planes have taken off from Zurich-Kloten since Friday afternoon due to a computer problem with air traffic controllers.

No more planes have taken off since Friday afternoon at Zurich airport until further notice, due to a computer problem with Skyguide air traffic controllers. Landings are also reduced by half.

It is not yet known how long the disruption to air traffic will last in Zurich-Kloten, a spokesperson for Skyguide told Keystone-ATS. The spokesperson confirmed information that had been reported by several online media outlets. Landings in Zurich are currently delayed and are being carried out in waves.
