Students from the athletics section of the Jean-Moulin college held their last training session on Thursday in Chartres.

They are led by Clément Besniard, physical education and sports teacher, with the support of Aclam (Athlé Chartres Lucé ASPTT Mainvilliers).
This sports section has around twenty students, from 6th to 3rd grade. Middle school students train twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Identify potential talents

Clément Besniard plays a central role in the management of the section. “He is really invested,” says Cédric Chovrot, coach at Aclam. The teacher takes care of administrative coordination and the link between the college and Aclam, ensuring the well-being of the students. Training can be lightened in the event of a heavy homework load or in the event of academic difficulties.

In Dreux, the Louis-Armand middle school students end the year with Pauline, a 23-year-old author

Aclam supervises training and detects potential talents, like Inelle, a 3rd grade student and regional hurdle champion. She changed college to enter the athletics course at Jean-Moulin college, in addition to her club training. She is preparing for minimal federal competitions.

This year, the college participated for the first time in the French championship, in Châlon-sur-Saône, where the girls finished 8th in the 4×60 relay.
