Here is the editorial selection of If Saint-Etienne to have fun and have fun in the Loire next weekend, July 5, 6 and 7. A list of events, selected independently and, of course, not exhaustive.
1 – At the top of the wasteland
Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6, the Friche en Fête festival is back on rue Neyron, in Saint-Etienne. From 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., various activities and shows will be offered, combining music, theater and even street arts. In the program, we find a circus workshop, a bungee race, or the duo Danse Machine Volume and Los Ksos. The event is organized in collaboration with L’Ours qui brasse.
2 – Night call
This summer, it’s the return of Roanne Plage. To mark the launch of the entertainment program, the Bords de Loire neighborhood council will offer its night market of local producers and artisans on Friday July 5 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Among the stands of creators and producers: soaps, candles, jewelry, decoration, ceramics, basketry, leather goods, arts and crafts, beers and liqueurs, herbal teas, spices, cheeses, meats, etc., and the presence of food trucks.
3 – Saint-Cham’ beach
The beach will also come to Saint-Chamond with an opening from Friday July 5. On the program, a night market, a modern jazz dance show, as well as a concert by Sophie Jaconelli. Located on Square Croix Gauthier, the beach will be accessible until July 13, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
4 – Let yourself be surprised
To mark its 50th anniversary, the Pilat Regional Natural Park is organizing numerous activities. Friday July 5, a guided tour of the entire Chartreuse is organized at 3 p.m. Then, at 5 p.m., meetings are organized with specialists in the history of the village, punctuated by dance performances by choreographer Dai Jian.
5 – Buffet d’air
The Jardin des plantes à couleurs is celebrating its 21st anniversary in Essertines-en-Donzy. The opportunity to come to one of the guided tours, with a demonstration of vegetable dyeing on Sunday July 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sculptors, painters, textile artists, photographers, ceramists are also on the program.
