A banner supporting the New Popular Front was damaged on Thursday, June 27, in the village of Sevreau de Niort. The banner hanging on the gate of a house was tagged with a swastika and a Jewish star, and the first and last name of the substitute candidate Frédéric Mousson was crossed out. The New Popular Front and its candidates condemn this vile act , this Friday, June 28, via a press release. For its part, the departmental federation of the French Communist Party of Deux-Sèvres announces that it will file a complaint so that a criminal investigation can be launched to search for and prosecute the culprit(s) of this infamous act before the competent court . It should be noted that Frédéric Mousson, member of the PCF, is also president of the Association of deportees, internees, resistance fighters and patriots (Adirp).
