As part of the economic development of the Ajaccian country and support for businesses, several innovative systems have been put in place to support project leaders. Among them, the “Capsule” system supported by Podcastu and the M3E, and financed by the BPI, stands out by highlighting local entrepreneurs and the essential themes around entrepreneurship.

The Citadel of Ajaccio recently welcomed the Capsule actors for an enriching presentation, in which project leaders and support structures participated. “We have been working on this project for two years now,” explained Audrey Royer, director of the Podcastu association. “We were able to organize and capture six roundtable discussions, twenty-three entrepreneur portraits and host four events.”

Videos from the show are available on YouTube, as well as podcasts on most dedicated platforms. This content highlights life and business journeys, addressing the difficulties encountered but also the great successes. Many inspiring testimonies were presented during this day. “Entrepreneurship is a visceral commitment”, underlined Linda Gendre, deputy director of the M3E, during a round table. “It’s like a child, it’s a lifelong commitment that impacts the whole family. But you have to commit intelligently, question yourself and know how to find the skills that may be lacking.”

Inspiring testimonials from Corsican entrepreneurs

Among the testimonies, that of Marina Martelli, recognized for having developed the Sup Design preparatory school, particularly stood out. She returned to the difficulty of having to gain self-confidence. Noting the absence of a design school in Corsica, she joined the M3E business incubator and, thanks to the various supports and her passionate work, finally opened her business.

Another inspiring story is that of Andrea Bonapersona, now the head of the start-up Trendex. He left a permanent and regular salaried position to launch himself into the unknown. He particularly spoke about the importance of finding complementarity and skills among potential partners.

A space for networking and collaboration

Following the many testimonials, the entrepreneurs present took advantage of a time for discussion and networking to expand their contacts and present their companies. These moments are valuable for strengthening ties between entrepreneurs and encouraging the emergence of new collaborations.
