The very young company Reeflect, created in Montpellier, uses artificial intelligence to offer a whole host of home solutions for deaf and hard of hearing people.

It was during the lockdown that Anthony Denux had the idea to create Reeflect. He started out as a computer engineer, and both his parents are deaf.
During Covid, he went back down to Hérault, where he comes from, and he talked with his father about the difficulties he encountered on a daily basis: for example, he didn’t know when a delivery man rang his doorbell, he didn’t know if someone was shouting in the house, he didn’t hear anything if he forgot to turn off his tap.

As he has long wanted to launch his own business, Anthony Denux decided to create this solution for deaf and hard of hearing people: a whole bunch of sensors in the house connected to a box and managed by an application. Customers can configure as they wish: for example, decide that when a delivery person rings the doorbell, all the lights in the house turn on.

The company was officially created in June, the solution is currently in the testing phase and should be marketed by early 2025 at the latest.

For individuals, the installation of the equipment will cost around 1500 euros and a monthly subscription will be added for updates and after-sales service.
