The Montreal International Jazz Festival is finally back, starting tonight! June 27 to July 6it is more than 350 concerts which will be presented, two thirds of which will be offered free of charge. A program of modern, global and diverse jazz music awaits you!

Among the headliners of this 44th edition of the event are André 3000, Norah Jones, Alexandra Strelinski, Hiatus Kaiyote, Laufey, Robert Glasper, Charlotte Day Wilson, Orville Peck, The Cinematic Orchestra And much more. Also enjoy a host of interactive activities designed on the theme of music at the Rio Tinto Musical Factory. Young and old will find what they are looking for there! Several free services for families will also be offered: loan of earmuffs for children, bracelets for children designed to record parents’ contact details, makeup and temporary tattoos and blue foam blocks for playing.

In addition, you can have a bite to eat with comforting dishes in a festive atmosphere at Bistro SAQ in the heart of the Place des festivals, Club Montreal TD on the Esplanade de la Place des Arts, at Pub Molson on the Esplanade Tranquille and at the food trucks located on either side of the festival site. On the menu: corn on the cob, platters of local charcuterie and cheese, chicken salad roll, hot pretzel, nachos, homemade margherita focaccia, tomatoes and fior di latte, Nordic shrimp aguachile and much more!
