Yann Escande, 45, disappeared while driving his car on Sunday November 3 after leaving his home in Fontrieu in Tarn. Her phone stopped ringing as soon as she left and since then, police, neighbors and villagers had undertaken searches to try to find her.

This disappearance could take a tragic turn, with these last hours, with the discovery of a charred body in a car itself set on fire in the heart of the woods of the Monts de Lacaune, between Tarn, Hérault and Aveyron, just a few kilometers from Fontrieu.
“Investigations are underway, including scientific ones, to determine the identity of the deceased,” public prosecutor Elodie Buguel told La Dépêche du Midi.
