The bank card thief identified thanks to video surveillance, in Clermont-Ferrand

He stole a wallet from the reception of a Clermont-based physiotherapy practice and then made various purchases with the bank card inside. This 58-year-old man, identified using video surveillance images, was arrested by the police. In police custody, he allegedly admitted the facts. He will have to appear in court on July 15.

Road exit in Thiers

A 53-year-old woman, residing in La Monnerie-le-Montel, lost control of her vehicle following vagal discomfort, today Thursday June 27, around 2 p.m., while she was traveling on the D906 in near the Hélion Bridge in Thiers.

The driver, who was the only one involved, left the road and ended up on her roof in a field. She got out of her vehicle alone. She was transferred to Thiers hospital for check-ups.

During the intervention, an alternation was set up by three soldiers from the Thiers brigade.

Meter fire in a house in Désertines

Around ten firefighters were called around 4:40 p.m. this Thursday, June 27, rue des Bergeronnes, in Désertines. The fire started in a meter but was quickly extinguished by firefighters using a fire extinguisher. The owner of the house, an 87-year-old man with slight smoke intoxication, was transported to the Montluçon hospital center.
