The barrier of the Sens motorhome area, avenue de Senigallia, has been blocked since this Thursday, June 27, 2024, in the morning. A shell was found at the entrance to the land, currently under construction. While excavators were digging a hole in the morning, workers discovered a projectile, which has not been identified at this time.

“We came across it this morning, around 10:30 a.m., while we were carrying out earthworks up to 25 meters deep. The shell was put in a safe place,” explains the person who made the discovery.
How the deminers who intervened this Friday at Sens station work
A photo of the projectile was sent to the Versailles mine clearance team. The photo apparently did not worry the professionals, who will visit the site in the coming days.
After evacuating the site, the firefighters and the municipal police invited the camper vans arriving this afternoon to head towards the Joigny municipal campsite. The construction site nevertheless resumed at the beginning of the afternoon. The Senonese area has twenty-five locations.
