Plazac. On Saturday June 29, the village will host the Grand Site de France Vézère valley festival, which is changing its format. Its date has been brought forward to the beginning of summer and it now takes place in a single municipality. Many activities are on the program from 2 p.m.: painting and drawing workshops, exhibitions, naturalist visits, demonstrations of ancient crafts, carriage rides, storytelling walks, etc.
The Saint-Martin fair
Périgueux. The 30e edition of the Saint-Martin fair will take place Sunday June 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organized by the Saint-Martin la gare neighborhood committee, it is one of the largest flea markets in the department. We expect 600 exhibitors there. Free admission. Refreshment bar and catering on site.
Midsummer bonfire
Sarlat. The Sarlat Périgord Noir Rotary Club will celebrate Saint-Jean, Place Pasteur, Saturday June 29. The event, which is organized for the benefit of the parafootball section of the Sarlat-Marcillac club, will begin at 4 p.m. with entertainment and an exhibition of old vehicles. In the evening, catering and concert; lighting of the fire at 10:30 p.m.

Carves. The Théâtre du Fon du Loup will welcome, Saturday June 29 at 9 p.m., the Mira Compagnie, a young troupe recently established in the Dordogne. She will play “Mon fric”, a play by David Lescot which features Moi, a character whose life is punctuated by money. Prices: 10 and 8 euros.
