Julian Marley, son of the famous singer Bob Marley, will give a free open-air concert in Lisieux (Calvados) on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at 9 p.m., on the occasion of the “summer meetings”.
Known internationally, this son of Bob Marley notably participated in the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 with his group The Uprising under the colors of Jamaica. In 1989, he became involved in the creation of the production company “Ghetto Youths Crew” with his brothers Ziggy and Stephen.
Author of five albums, Julian Marley also won a Grammy for best reggae album in 2024. His music with Jamaican and British influences is created on a reggae basis, with some inspirations from R’n’B and hip. whoops.
An international tour
The artist will be in the middle of a summer and international tour. It will leave Santa Suzana in Spain and pass through Lisieux before joining Laval the next day.
As a reminder, the capital of the Pays d’Auge hosted another reggae concert last year. Pierpoljak was a hit in front of 3,000 people.
