A partnership agreement between the department of Moselle and the Ministry of Culture and Education of High was signed this Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Le Klub cinema in Metz, on the occasion of the preview of the film “Georges de La Tour, l’ombre et laflame”.
Its objective is to strengthen the links between the cultural infrastructures of the two territories and to encourage the development of cross-border projects.
Moselle and Saar have formalized a new cultural partnership for a period of 3 years. The agreement aims to develop cultural cooperation through artistic residencies, joint exhibitions and the strengthening of major existing events, such as the Perspectives festival in Saarbrücken, dedicated to performing arts in French and German, or the Festival Mir festival. The European Archaeological Park of Bliesbruck-Reinheimlocated at the border, is intended to remain a nerve center for cross-border trade. “This marvelous archaeological research complex allows us to think back to times when our peoples and our territories were completely linked,” recalls departmental advisor Patrick THIL.
