A rainy but warm meeting. THE attendance figures of the Montauban en Scènes festival version 2024 were unveiled this Wednesday June 26 by Jérémy Bringuier, event director.
25,000 spectators in 4 days
For its 10th edition, this cultural event, which saw the presence of Patrick Bruel, MC Solaar, Grand Corps Malade, Gims, Feder and even Soolking, gathered nearly 25,000 spectators over four days. “It’s less than the previous year (27,000 people, editor’s note), but it’s beyond expectations take in account the difficult weather conditions and all the logistics to adapt,” explained Jérémy Bringuier.
If rap and electro have served as leaders since the creation of the festival in 2015, this year, an evening was particularly dedicated to a younger audience with artists like Heuss l’Enfoiré and Hamza. A “discovery scene” and one “urban springboard” also allowed around ten artists from the region to perform on the stage of the Jardin des Plantes.
“2025 programming set at 70-80%”
Next year, Montauban en Scènes will celebrate its tenth anniversary. On this occasion, the organizers will have the desire to create more “chic” evenings. This Wednesday, the director of the event Jérémy Bringuier also took the opportunity to slip that “the 2025 program was already 70-80% setbefore adding thatan international artist should appear on the Montalban scene”. Festival-goers will therefore have to be patient before knowing the headliner for the next edition.
