“We haven’t touched anything since we started back in March. Mr and Mrs Vidal had already done the work. » Laura Perrin, the new owner of Manoir des Cèdres, in Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac (Dordogne), knows that with her husband Jules, they have a great tool in their hands.

The couple, originally from Isère, are on their third affair. “We had a little tour of this department,” reveals Laura. When we saw the photos of the Cedars, we said to ourselves that we were going to come and visit it. » We immediately fell in love with the Périgord Noir hotel-restaurant. Three stars for the hotel section and traditional cuisine for the restaurant section. “My husband comes from a gastronomic background and he doesn’t want to go back there,” smiles the owner. Foie gras, calf’s head, salmon gravlax have therefore been invited to the Cèdres table.

The proximity of the A 89

Beyond a traditional offer, the new owners would especially like to develop events, whether private or professional. The large reception room, at the back of the park, is ideal for hosting weddings, for example. “The location lends itself to this type of event,” says Laura Perrin. Weddings, but also baptisms, communions, company seminars, Christmas trees or works council meetings. »

A will dictated by demand. “For the month of September, we already have a few reservations,” says the owner. An owner who admits it without problem, near Lyon, her husband and she have quite a few contacts within the entrepreneurial world. Without forgetting the proximity of the A 89 which facilitates access.

“We have 23 rooms, which therefore represents 56 beds,” explains Laura Perrin. It is entirely possible to privatize the entire establishment for several days. » The couple also approached local service providers in order to offer a global offer to their customers. This is the case of a local photographer for weddings, in particular. “We have the tool, it’s up to us to use it well,” concludes the boss.
