Born in Quebec on September 28, 1937, he was the son of the late Lady Jeanne Fillion and the late Mr. Louis Banville. He lived in Quebec. Family members will receive condolences at

Saturday June 29, 2024 from 2 p.m. In his memory A farewell ceremony will follow at 4 p.m. in the cooperative’s meditation room. The ashes will be placed at the La Seigneurie columbarium at a later date. Besides his wife Aline, Mr. Banville is survived by his children: Guy (Marthe Jeffrey), Yves (Sophie Armstrong); his grandchildren: Marc-André, Louis, Joanie, Philippe; his great-grandchildren: Justin, Emma, Rose, Nelson, Théo; his brother and sister: Jean-Louis (late Gabrielle Dubé), Gisèle (Jacques Filion); his beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Rochette family; his godchildren: Martin Filion, Germain Huot, Marc-André Banville as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family sincerely thanks Dr. Sophie Breton as well as all the staff on the 8th floor of the St-François d’Assise Hospital.
