At the St-François d’Assise Hospital, on June 7, 2024, at the age of 92, passed away Mr. Roland Ferland, husband of the late Denise Leblond. He was the son of the late Mr. Émile Ferland and the late Lady Alice Guay. He lived in Quebec, formerly in Saint-Tite-des-Caps. The family will welcome you for a solidarity meeting on Saturday June 29, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m., the church of Saint-Tite-des-Caps, 271, avenue Royale, Saint-Tite-des-Caps, Quebec, G0A 4J0. The religious service celebrated in the presence of the body will follow at 11 a.m. The ashes will be placed in the parish cemetery at a later date under the direction of the

He has now joined his wife Denise, his son François and he leaves to mourn his children, his sons-in-law and his daughter-in-law: Hélène (Yvon Couture), Claude (Manon Goulet), Johanne (Mario Dubé), Odette (Gilles Drolet) and Josée (Bernard Verreault); his grandchildren: Pierre-Luc (Claudia Fisher) and Audrey De Blois (Alexandre Gosselin), Vanessa (Andy Rhéaume) and Samuel Ferland (Savana Trudel); his great-grandchildren: Joey, Benjamin, Camille, Gabriel and Allan; his sister-in-law: the late Léopold (Rachel Bilodeau) and he was the brother of: the late Armand (the late Jeanne Ferland), the late Jeannette (the late Paul-Henri Lachance), the late Albert (the late Émelda Lévesque), the late Gérard (the late Bibiane Lepage), the late Marie-Ange (the late Laurent Bergeron), the late Lucien (the late Pierrette Paradis), the late Léa (the late Camille Gingras), the late Philippe (the late Gabrielle Tremblay) and the late Ernestine (the late Gérard Desbiens); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Leblond family: Jean-Guy, sister Madeleine pfm, Rachel (late Denis Giguère), Renaud (Michèle Crépeault), Diane (late André Bérubé), Irène and he was the brother-in-law of: the late Robert (late Madeleine Giguère), the late Laurent (late Rosianne Duchesne), the late Mariette (late Paul-Henri Ferland), the late Jeannine (late Émile Laurent), the late Suzanne (late Alex Couture) and the late Simone (late George-André Langlois). He also leaves to mourn several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. The family would like to sincerely thank all the palliative care staff at the St-François d’Assise Hospital and especially Dr. Sophie Breton for her very human attention.
