The good health of the socio-cultural space

Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier. AG: The vitality and influence of the socio-cultural area of Sud-Nivernais.. Based in Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier, the Espace sociocultural du Sud-Nivernais, faithful to its habits of decentralizing its general assembly in one of its member municipalities, had contacted Neuville-lès-Decize to bring together members, volunteers, partners and employees.

Mayor Daniel Morin said he was delighted to welcome the structure during his introductory speech.

To boost the various activity and financial reports, the association chose to present them in the form of small workshops where all staff participated. Those present moved from one to the other according to the order and time established to facilitate fluidity. “This formula made it possible to discover actions for some, to highlight projects but also to answer various questions by initiating, sometimes, even mini-debates,” underlines director Christophe Jeannin.

After an hour and a half of presentation and reading of the auditor’s report, the various reports were adopted unanimously. Nicole Robert, mayor of Toury-sur-Jour, for the Nivernais Bourbonnais community of communes, was delighted with the good health of the structure and the very good partnerships forged with the Early Childhood space.

Julie Blanchet, from the Federation of Social Centers of Nièvre, congratulated all the staff for the animation and underlined the efforts of the structure in terms of welcoming and monitoring interns as well as the involvement of management in the DESJEPS training on the Nièvre.

Jean-Paul Fallet, representing the president of the Departmental Council, said he was delighted with his presence in the commune, the attractive presentation of the various reports as well as the very close links with the Decize medico-social action site. He reaffirmed the desire of the Departmental Council to maintain the subsidy allocated to the social centers of Nièvre despite a restricted budget. He congratulated the entire team of volunteers and employees for the good dynamics of the structure and wished them an equally happy new year 2024.

The final word went to Sandrine Moussu, president, who thanked the volunteers, employees, partners and members present before inviting everyone to share a moment of conviviality which allowed the exchanges to continue.
