Let’s go for the Natural Games in Millau

the essential
The Natural Games begin this Thursday, June 27 in the City of Gloves. An update on the essentials.

Everyone in Millavoi is aware that the Natural Games outdoor sports festival starts this Thursday. The opportunity to take stock of the artists, athletes and competitions not to be missed under any circumstances.

For four days, the Maladrerie will vibrate to the rhythm of bicycle wheels on the ramps, or even paddles hitting the waves of the whitewater stadium for an upgraded 15th edition.

So, who says exceptional event, says exceptional guests. On the sporting side, festival-goers who love outdoor sports will not be disappointed. And for good reason, they will be able to count on the presence of “super guests” who have come especially for an edition that Michaël Pradayrol, the director of the event, has promised to be eclectic.

“50 nuances d’outdoor”

Namely: Marius Kitowski, former high-level professional swimmer who “will be a serious competitor for the NG 2024 title”; NG regular Mailys Piazza, regular resident of the French bouldering teams; 2023 Freestyle Highline World Vice-Champion Taylor St Germain; or the mountain biker Thomas Genon.

A (non-exhaustive) anthology of athletes, coming from the four corners of mainland France and overseas. Among them, Salomé Cholet, vice-world champion in highline freestyle.

“50 shades of outdoor”, the expression consecrated by the organization of the festival which will bring together climbing, extreme kayaking, freestyle mountain biking & BMX, freestyle paragliding, enduro mountain biking (at the Millau Viaduc bikepark ), base jumping, river stand up paddle, jumpline, highline, wingsuit, freestyle kayaking and cross paragliding. We catch our breath. Four days during which artists will also take over the Maladrerie so that festival-goers can celebrate the start of summer.

Music side: several headliners

A new edition which begins under bright sunshine, to the delight of visitors to the sports complex which has been under construction for several weeks on the outskirts of the Tarn. On stage, the artists will come one after the other, ranging from rap to pop to electro: there will be something for everyone!

Among them, the Toulouse brothers Bigflo and Oli who will come for the first time to the city of gloves. But also regulars, like DJ Sabor A Mi, “a romantic soul with boundless energy”, describes the organization of the festival.

Festival-goers will be able to count on the presence of the reggae singer Naaman, but also those of the pop singer Jain, the DJ Vladimir Cauchemar, the trio Caravan Palace or the group Meute from Hamburg known for its electro music mixed with brass band.

A veritable jumble of artists and athletes who will make La Maladrerie tremble.

Competitions, wellness workshops, introductory sessions, the exhibitors’ village and the green zone are accessible from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Complete program for the four days can be found on naturalgames.fr.
