Barely a month after the end of the 2023-2024 season, HBC Mamers is about to close its squad. Nicolaï Pannetier explains: “We are already arriving at the end of June and our individual preparation starts in around ten days. We are no longer waiting for possible recruits. I already have a very complete squad, with only two departures but five arrivals (for the moment). I think my roster is already complete! Interested girls have already come to try sessions and have been convinced by the project and the atmosphere. »

Before expressing his method: “I made the choice not to recruit from within the department. On the other hand, we gave the players the choice to come and try sessions. All the girls contacted me in advance, we talked and came to try. On the other hand, regarding recruitment outside the department, this was not successful. We found ourselves faced with two main difficulties: the lack of compensation and the location of the city. »

The squad, precisely, records two departures: the stopping of Lucie Potin (pivot) and the departure for studies of Inès Moitet (half-center/fullback). On the other hand, Nicolaï Pannetier and HBC Mamers have seen the arrival of several interesting players: Tiphaine Maere (goalkeeper, U17Nat Entente Sarthe), Marie-Lou Corbeau (pivot, U17Nat Entente Sarthe), Anaïs Cissé (pivot, N3 LMCV), Jessica Norgoll-Amraoui (goalkeeper, Entente Alençon/Saint-Germain) and Sandy Calippe (half-center and winger, N3 LMCV).

The latter, top scorer of the Nationale 3 team of the Entente Le Mans-Connerre-Vibraye-La Bazoge 72 for several years. She shares her motivations: “It’s obviously very difficult to leave your family after 18 years at the Cheminots du Mans, but I was looking for a new project after five years in the Entente Sarthe. I had the choice between Mamers and Evron. Very similar clubs in both the atmosphere and the game plan… I had a hard time deciding but I chose Mamers. »

She completes: “Since January, we knew we weren’t going to go up, so I was very frustrated! Everyone knows I’m competitive. I’ve wanted to play in Nationale 2 again for several years, so it’s done. I am ready for this new adventure with Mamers. » She will join two other wingers in very good shape this season on the Mamers side: Audrey Pineau and Rozenn Robichon. This promises!
