A private security company was dismantled in Haute-Vienne. She is accused of having used the hidden work of illegal workers and of having engaged in massive money laundering. The case will soon be handled by the Limoges criminal court.

It’s at the beginning of 2022 that everything begins for the investigators of the Limoges Research Section. They are intrigued by a private security company established in the city. The latter practices, but does not have the approval of the National Council for Private Security Activities (CNAPS) which is nevertheless required by the State.

The Limoges public prosecutor’s office then gives its approval to carry out careful investigations. The latter reveal the presence of around a hundred employees in an irregular situation. Only four agents are officially declared. A practice which would have allowed the company to reduce its costs and offer lower prices than the competition. According to the press release provided by the prosecution, “The company thus managed to win major contracts throughout the Limousin and Brittany regions by impersonating real agents during checks.”

Searches were then carried out jointly in Limoges and Pontivy (Brittany) by the gendarmerie services. Nearly €100,000 was seized from bank accounts as well as several real estate properties, including a nightclub located in Limoges and whose value is estimated at €310,000.

These real estate properties were allegedly acquired using nominees with money coming from “occult financial circuits.

The results of the investigation estimate the amount of damage at €550,000, including €315,000 for the URSSAF concerning the hidden work.

The sums generated would have been partly laundered to several countries using short-lived companies.

The persons implicated in this case are already known to the courts for similar offences. They will soon be summoned before the Limoges Criminal Court.
