Making an appointment online for filing a complaint or a handrail is now available at the Ajaccio police station via the “Police rendez-vous” platform, announced the national police in a press release published this Tuesday, June 25 .
The platform aims to “limit waiting times in police stations”, “allow the user to organize their trip according to their personal constraints” and “avoid unnecessary travel”, specifies the press release. of the Ministry of the Interior. The stated objective? Improve reception conditions for victims and “strengthen the digital link with the population”.
In detail, the user must first provide information on their situation in order to check whether a trip to the police station is necessary. If this is the case, the victim can then select the police station and time slot of their choice to go and file a complaint, specifying the reason for their trip and confirming their identity via FranceConnect, an online identification service provided by the French State. The appointment is then confirmed by email and can be cancelled in the event of an impediment.
