Rhone Gard: twelve medals for local artisans during the Gard Gourmand competition

166 products and 98 artisans rewarded during the 32nd Gourmand “Millésime 2025” competition:

Each year, the Gard Gourmand competition, organized by the Gard Departmental Council, highlights the talents of local food artisans. The 2025 edition was no exception to the rule, rewarding 166 products and 98 artisans for their know-how, their respect for short circuits and their commitment to quality food.

Promote “consume local”

“Through the brand “Le Gard, Militant du Goût” and its policy in favor of everyone’s access to quality food, the Departmental Council is committed to promoting the different Gard terroirs. The “Gard Gourmand” competition allows both the recognition of gastronomic heritage and the promotion of the women and men who bring it to life. Thank you to the ambassadors of the region: artisans, farmers, breeders, restaurateurs, caterers who work to enhance them on a daily basis,” declared Françoise Laurent-Perrigot, President of the Departmental Council.

This competition, organized in partnership with the Gard Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Chamber of Agriculture, Gard Tourisme, the Bienvenue à la ferme association and the Civam Federation du Gard, guarantees recognition of excellent quality local products. This year's results once again illustrate the gastronomic richness of the region.
