And “business manager with paint-stained hands”. This is how it presented itself Jean-François Luciani, candidate PNC in the first constituency of Corse-du-Sud, to the hundred people who came to attend his meeting at the Palais des Congrès in Ajaccio, this Thursday, June 25.

A profile of a business leader, or even a claimed good manager, which should justify severe “usage observations” vis-à-vis the territorial majority. Targeting accounts “in a critical situation”and the deficit of the CdC, the PNC candidate insisted: “We cannot talk about autonomy without economy”. Or, “we must be aware of the errors that occur on the Grandval course”.

Concretely, Jean-François Luciani also defended the need for a new territorial planning plan, investment projects and to give “financial consistency” to the autonomy project. For his part, Jean-Christophe Angelini took on a deep disagreement with the territorial majority “on economic and social subjects”. “There is a real crisis in tourism and construction. People are waiting for answers on Corsican taxation, on the tax credit and on the seasonal CDI”, judge the chosen one.

“Vote sanction”

Assuming to bring the vote back to local issues, Jean-Christophe Angelini nevertheless denies preparing the ground for future elections. “We are not in the pre-campaign for the territorialhe assured. And we’re not here to beat anyone.”. A little earlier, Jean-François Luciani declared from the podium: “I ask you to produce a sanction vote in the face of a situation that is getting out of control”.

On the division of nationalists, Jean-Christophe Angelini rejects all responsibility. “We wanted to play the game when we learned that an application was going to be submitted to the prefecture”, he declares in a barely veiled allusion to Romain Colonna. A few minutes earlier, Jean-Paul Carrolaggi, supported in 2022 by the PNC, affirmed that he would not call for Colonna to vote “neither in the first nor in the second round”.
