Barely released from prison, a man was arrested again for insulting the police. He will spend six more months in detention.

Jessy Momal’s freedom lasted only six hours. On June 14, the police intervened for a possible scene of domestic violence. As reported by Oise-Hebdo, upon their arrival, they discovered a broken door, traces of blood, a victim in a drunken state, and a man injured in the hand.

The man admits to having accused his partner of infidelity, sparking an altercation where he injured himself by breaking a window and fighting with his partner’s friend. When the police intervened, Jessy Momal violently insulted them and tried to hit them, before spitting blood at them.

In the police vehicle, he continues to be aggressive. He even signs the report with insults. Injured, he was transported to Beauvais hospital, then transferred to Amiens University Hospital for an operation. The next day, when the police came to arrest him, he escaped with his IV, triggering a search warrant.

He was finally found near his partner’s home on June 21, admitting to having alcohol problems. Known for his 23 convictions at just 28 years old, he finds himself before the courts again. The prosecutor requests a sentence of 18 months in prison, including 6 months suspended for three years.

The court finally sentenced him to 12 months in prison, including 6 months under suspended probation for two years, with the obligation to work and take care of himself.
