A bright first step
To discover this new and fascinating concept, go to the train station Cergy Saint-Christophe. From there, you can very easily reach the start of the vast 26 hectare parkwhich begins with the Cergy Belvedere. A monumental, almost futuristic esplanade, which has in its center a gigantic leaning tower, like the famous Tower of Pisa. But it is at nightfall that it truly reveals all its secrets since, when evening comes, its summit lights up with a powerful green laser beam. A mysterious line of light, which connects the following 11 stages of the route over more than 3 km, giving them unity and continuity. But which is also, when time permits, visible from the capital ! And more precisely from the district of defensesince it is located directly in the extension of the Arch ! A fantastic image, bordering on the spooky, which will leave no one indifferent.
A unique journey
But beware, the major axis does not come down to that, quite the contrary. In fact, these are 11 more steps which await you later. The sublime Impressionist Orchard, reconstituted as the orchards of the Oise appeared in the painters’ paintings. The imposing Twelve Columns, which overlook the rest of the promenade.
