Since the end of May, the Impulsyon network, in La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée), has equipped its buses with new validators. Customers can now pay for their ticket directly at the terminal with their bank card.

They appeared at the end of May on the Impulsyon network buses, in the La Roche-sur-Yon area (Vendée). New validators have been in operation for a few weeks, and bring some changes for customers.

Users can now use their bank card to purchase a transport ticket directly at the terminal, with contactless payment. Cash payment is still possible with the driver, but the ticket has changed: it is now equipped with a QR code, to be validated at the terminal. Same for the Tickizz application: passengers must present the QR code on their smartphone.
These new methods allow drivers to save time. “Ultimately, the objective is to move solely towards dematerialized payments”…
