08:00. The polling stations are opening… Watch out for the closing time!
In the 586 municipalities of the department, polling stations open at 8h00. Be careful, however, with the closing time, which differs from one city to another: three different schedules have been validated by the prefecture.
- 6:00 p.m.: closing time for all polling stations in 570 communes of Haute-Garonne — the least populated in the department.
- 7:00 p.m.: This is closing time in two other municipalities: Castelginest et Saint Jean.
- 8:00 p.m.: closing time in the following 14 municipalities: Balma, Blagnac, Castanet-Tolosan, Colomiers, Cugnaux, Fonsorbes, L’Union, Muret, Plaisance-du-Touch, Ramonville, Saint-Agne, Saint-Gaudens, Saint-Orens-de-Gameville, Toulouse et Tournefeuille.
07:30. Who are the candidates in Haute-Garonne?
In total, 73 candidates seek their votes from voters in the 10 constituencies of Haute-Garonne. To decide between them, some 1,361 polling stations have been installed throughout the department, including 277 in the city of Toulouse alone.

For these legislative elections, 952,016 voters are registered on the lists in Haute-Garonne, including 266,260 in Toulouse, according to data from the prefecture. Figures which are continually increasing in this department which is gaining a lot of inhabitants: during the 2022 legislative elections, there were 937,606 registered, including 262,125 in Toulouse.
