From June 27 to 29, 2024 in Miramas, the Nuits Métis will once again take part in the game of mixing audiences, sharing music and the festive celebration of world cultures. In this Olympic year, the unmissable Miramasséan festival consolidates its major place on the podium of the hottest family events of the summer.
For their 31st edition, the Nuits Métis declare their love to artists from Kenya, Morocco, Spain, Palestine, Lebanon, France, Mauritania, Chile and Guinea to perpetuate this legendary tradition of great celebration popular and global.
In the majestic setting of the Saint-Suspi lake, the festival knows how to be generous with 10 countries represented, 13 free concerts, six festive strolls, a street theater show, visual arts installations from Nairobi, a village gourmand and a day of professional meetings dedicated to international cooperation. Here, the spirit of Nuits Métis carries its human values high: warmer, more beautiful and more united.
Established in Miramas for 16 years, the Nuits Métis festival offers a quality and free show, it brings together more than 10,000 spectators each year. Beyond the festival, Nuits Métis work throughout the year in the region, defending both cultural diversity and culture for all. The values held by the association are therefore particularly consistent with a global eco-responsible approach.
The festival will begin Thursday at the Théâtre de la Colonne from 8:30 p.m. with the Vents Métis fanfare (France), the hot and explosive breath of an inclusive orchestral ensemble. Friday, at the lake, The family of giants declares its love, a spectacular stroll and festival in mixed colors. And every evening, the batucada of the family of giants will offer festive strolls of monumental puppets. Visual arts installations by Nairobi (Kenya) and the Miramassaï tribe will also be offered.
