Works in Nantes: new closures on the ring road and the A11

The Porte de Gesvres is once again under construction in Nantes. Other development work must be carried out on this part of the ring road and the A11 motorway.

This work will take place at night. The closure to traffic will therefore be effective from 8:30 p.m. to 5:45 a.m. in the morning, the nights of Monday June 24 to 25, from June 25 to 26, from 26 to 27 and from 27 to Friday June 28, 2024.

Closure in both directions of traffic

The A11 motorway and the northern ring roadbetween Porte de Rennes and the Bérangerais interchange, will be closed in both directions of traffic.

The ringroad will be closed from Porte de la Chapelle to Porte de Gesvres in both directions of traffic as well.

L’A811, which connects the Nantes ring road to the A11 motorway, will also undergo work. It will be closed in the Angers-Bordeaux direction, from interchange n°22 Vieillevigne (A11), to Porte d’Anjou (A811). The entrance ramps on the A811 in the north-south direction at the Vieillevigne, Madeleine (No. 23) and Linot (No. 24) interchanges will also be closed.

Diversion routes

Diversion routes are set up by the Cofiroute manager.

• Users from Vannes wanting to head towards Paris are diverted from Porte de Rennes n°37, take the metropolitan network to Porte de la Chapelle n°40 then the metropolitan network to interchange n°25 de la Bérangerais, then return to their original route via the A11 towards Paris.
• Users from Rennes continue their route on the N137 towards Nantes, take the metropolitan network to Porte de la Chapelle n°40, then the metropolitan network to interchange n°25 de la Bérangerais, then return to their original route via the A11 towards Paris.
• Users from Nantes wanting to access the A11 towards Paris, take the metropolitan network to Porte de la Chapelle n°40, then the metropolitan network to interchange n°25 de la Bérangerais, then find their route back origin via the A11 towards Paris.
• Users from Paris are diverted from the A11 at the Bérangerais interchange no. 25, take the metropolitan network to gate no. 37 in Rennes via the Porte de la Chapelle and return to their original destination via this interchange either in the direction from Rennes, or towards Vannes
• Users coming from the N844 Eastern Ring Road outside wanting to take the management of Parisare diverted from the N844 towards the Bérangerais interchange no. 25 where they return to their original destination via the interchange no. 25 towards Paris
• Users coming from the N844 Eastern Ring Road outside wanting to take the management of Rennes/Vannesare diverted from the N844 Porte de la Chapelle N844 towards interchange no. 37 at Porte de Rennes where they return to their original destination in the direction of Rennes/Vannes.
