Legislative: Julien Gautrelet, radical left-wing candidate in the 10th constituency of Yvelines

Aged 48, Julien Gautrelet is running for the first time in the 10th constituency of Yvelines. He was deputy mayor of Étréchy in Essonne before opening a real estate agency in Limours.

The gathering of the left is not perfect in the tenth constituency of Yvelines. It does not include Julien Gautrelet. And for good reason. This candidate represents the Radical Left Party (PRG), and this party is not part of the New Popular Front.

Unknown in the political landscape of Rambouillet Territoire, Julien Gautrelet held the rank of deputy in Étréchy, in Essonne from 2014 to 2017. Resident in Celle les Bordes, he is a real estate agent in Limours. This 48-year-old man defines himself as a supporter of the social contract. He affirms that he is committed to measures which are intended to be reasonable, but achievable. For example, he would prefer the renovation of the Rambouillet hospital on its current site rather than its reconstruction elsewhere.

For traveling health services

The PRG candidate also does not imagine raising the minimum wage to €1,600, but rather an exemption from charges for minimum wage employees of an SME. In the field of health, he advocates itinerant services going to meet patients lost in medical deserts.

Father of two grown-up boys aged 20 and 22, divorced, member of a service club, he would like to see young people benefit from paid civic service lasting several months.

“Young people in civic service could serve in nursing homes and why not in forest maintenance.”

Claiming to be inclusive and advocating integration, Julien Gautrelet says he is a supporter of immigration chosen and regulated using quotas. The choice of people would be made on economic, civic and climatic criteria.

In terms of security, Julien Gautrelet advocates the development of small structures organized on the model of “vigilant neighbors”. The PRG candidate chose to campaign with Patricia Jamin, a 66-year-old woman who claims no political affiliation.
