The City had warned! Since Friday June 21, beyond La Caisse d’Épargne and the wine merchant Nicolas, rue Carnot has been closed to traffic. This follows pedestrianization work in downtown Beauvais…of which three streets are currently under construction: de la Taillerie, Saint-Pierre and Carnot.

Numerous road closed and detour signs have been installed, as well as a portal which has been in place since the music festival.

So plan your trips in advance since by car, you will have no other choice than to take rue Henri-Gréber then rue de Buzanval. You will have to get used to taking another path now, especially since Rue Carnot will become pedestrianized at the end of October.
